The Routes: “Tailored workshops and presentations to support your unique needs.”

It is estimated that one in ten people have dyslexia in the UK, each one unique.

Dyslexia Routes understands the need to tailor its services to support every individual and offers a variety of routes to accommodate this.

All of our workshops can be delivered face to face or using a ZOOM platform provided by Dyslexia Routes. Alternative digital platforms of your choice are also considered.

Route 1 – Workshop for Parents and Carers

This is a whistle stop tour of dyslexia!

This workshop offers an insight into the strengths and uniqueness of the dyslexic mind, ideas for home support and many other tips.

Route 2 – Twilight Session for Teachers, Nursery Practitioners and Pupil Support Assistants

A handy twilight session to fit in with the end of the school day.

This workshop unravels the mystery of dyslexia and offers support on identification and ideas for classroom accommodations.

Duration: 1 hour / 1 hour and 30 minutes

Route 3 – Private consultation for parents and carers

A time to ask questions and plan for the future support of your young person all in confidence. You may be at the start of your journey where you want to find out about assessments, school support and how you can support at home. Or later down the road where you may need ideas for study skills or to understand the Scottish Assessment Arrangement system.

You will be sent a pre questionnaire to fill in prior to the meeting and follow up notes with recommendations will be forwarded after the consultation.

Meetings can either take place in person at Dyslexia Routes HQ or via a Zoom platform.

Duration: 1 hour plus follow up notes

Route 4 – Dyslexia in the Workplace

Suitable for corporate companies, charities or businesses.

Find out more about your employees and how you can best support and interact as well as building better relationships through an enhanced understanding of dyslexia whilst developing a strengths based culture.

Duration: ‘Lunch and Learn’ is 1 hour / 1 hour 30 minutes

Route 5 – Tutoring for age 5-13 years

This 45 minute weekly session is tailored to meet the unique needs of each child. A warm and friendly environment where the focus is multi sensory learning and fun!

Sessions are delivered via a Zoom platform.

Duration: 45 mins (CURRENTLY FULLY BOOKED)

Cost: £30 per 45 minute session

Route 6 – Irlen Screening

Irlen Screening is a difficulty in the processing of light and can often affect reading.

This screening gives an immediate outcome and offers a coloured overlay if required.

Duration: 1 – 2 hours

Cost: £75 including consultation and report
